All children who have completed 1st-5th Grade are invited to join us on our Summer Road Trips!

These local day trips will give students an opportunity to Share and Serve Jesus within our community, all while having fun with their friends.

Please be mindful of the dates, times and deadlines. 

Ronald McDonald House

Thursday, June 6th. 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Cost: $5.00 per child.
Includes: Lunch at McDonalds.

We will leave the campus of First Baptist Church at 9:00 am and are anticipating our return to the Church campus at 1:00 pm. The drop off and pickup location will be the Pearl Street Foyer. We will participate in various service projects at the Ronald McDonald House, followed by lunch at a local McDonalds.

VBS Prayer Walk.

Thursday, June 13th. 8:30 am – 11:00 am.
Cost: $5.00 per child.
Includes: Breakfast.

We will study the meaning of prayer walking, followed by touring the different locations within the church where Vacation Bible School will be held the next week. We will have a donut breakfast with milk and orange juice. We will conclude our morning by playing dodgeball in the gym.

The Love of Christ Food Pantry.

Wednesday, July 17th. 8:00 am – 12:00 noon.
Cost: $5.00 per child.
Includes: Pizza Lunch.

We will leave the campus of First Baptist Church at 8:00 am. We will return to the Church campus at 11am for a Pizza Lunch and Games. Dismissal will be at 12pm. The drop off and pickup location will be the Pearl Street Foyer. We will participate in prepping food sacks for those in need.

Ministry Day at Stoney Brook.

Thursday, July 25th. 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.
Cost: $5.00 per child.
Includes: Lunch – Chick Fil A Lunch at Church.

We will leave the campus of First Baptist Church at 9:00 am. We will return to the Church campus at 11am for a Chick Fil A Lunch and Games. Dismissal will be at 12 pm. The drop off and pickup location will be the Pearl Street Foyer. We will be delivering care packages to residents, in addition to reading scripture, sharing greeting cards and singing songs.

Prayer Walking at Elementary Schools & Spare Time Fun Center.

Thursday, August 8th. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Cost: $20.00 per child.
Includes: (2) Slices of Pizza, Soft Drinks, 1 Hour of Bowling/Shoes and (2) Missions of Laser Tag, $10 Game Card.

We will leave the campus of First Baptist Church at 9:00 am and are anticipating our return to the Church campus at 3:00 pm. The drop off and pickup location will be the Pearl Street Foyer. Our group will learn about the important element of Prayer Walking prior to departing to area elementary schools. Once we arrive at the local schools, our group will spend time prayer walking on the campuses.

Our Road Trip will end by having a great time at Spare Time Fun Center in Temple. The kids may want to bring EXTRA MONEY for arcade games, of course, that choice is up to the individual family.
