Summer Road Trip – Prayer Walking and Bowling Extravaganza

prayer walk

On August 11, we will be taking the children on a prayer walking and bowling extravaganza! We will leave the campus of First Baptist at 9 am and are anticipating our return to the church campus at 3 pm. The drop off and pickup location will be the Pearl Street Foyer. Our group will learn about the important practice of prayer walking prior to departing to area elementary schools. Once we arrive at the local schools, our group will spend time prayer walking on the campuses. Our road trip will end by having a great time at Spare Time Fun Center in Temple. This trip will cost $20 per child to cover two slices of pizza, soft drinks, an hour of bowling and shoes, one mission of laser tag, and a $5 game card. The kids may want to bring extra money for arcade games, of course that choice is up to the individual family.

A permission form will be mailed to each student’s family approximately two weeks prior to the event. Please bring the completed form with you on the day of the event.

The deadline to register is August 3. Once again, there is limited availability. Please register using the form below. If you are viewing this post in an email, please visit this post on the Web site to register.
