November 23 is a big day for us as we will welcome the director of the Baptist General Convention of Texas in the morning and celebrate Thanksgiving with the community (at the Belton Church of Christ) in the evening.

Randel Everett

We will be privileged to have Dr. Randel Everett and his wife Sheila to be with us at First Baptist this Sunday. Dr. Everett is the newly elected Executive Director of the BGCT. Dr. Everett and Sheila have been friends with our pastor and Sharon for over 30 years. He is a gifted preacher as well as a strong, godly leader for our state convention. He has a heart for reaching Texas and our world for Jesus.

Community Thanksgiving Service

The Annual Community Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Sunday night, November 23 at 6 p.m. at the Belton Church of Christ. The church is located on N. Main St and Guthrie Dr. The service is sponsored each year by the Belton Minister’s Fellowship. Choirs from Belton High School will help to lead in worship. An offering will be received for the Helping Hands Food Pantry of Belton. No evening service will be held at First Baptist. All of the church family is encouraged to worship with brothers and sisters in Christ from around our community.
