robinsonFirst Baptist Church will hold a church-wide fellowship Sunday, March 1 after the evening worship service in honor of our Minister of Discipleship and Evangelism, Charlie Robinson. After 20 years in the position, Charlie is moving on to be available to serve the Lord as He leads.

An abbreviated worship service will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the reception in the gym.  There will be music, pictures, and an opportunity for members to write notes of appreciation to Charlie and his wife Janice. The hostess team will provide refreshments, as the church family gathers to congratulate “Coach” Robinson on a job well done.
The Robinsons will continue to worship & serve here at First Baptist in a variety of ways.

    Bro. Charlie,

You have been such an inspiration and a joy to us both as individuals sitting under your teaching, and now as a couple endeavoring to tell others about Christ along our journey together. As we almost daily “prayer walk” in our neighborhood, we have become more sensitive to the many needs as we seek and listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance in how to pray for our neighbors. What blessings we share when we arrive back home!
Thank you for modeling for so many in our community the “effective, fervent prayer – which availeth much”!!

With our love and blessings for your “new chapter” in life,
    Rod and Mary McDaniel
