ARCHIVE: Read the Bible in 2010

scriptureI want to encourage you to read through the Bible in 2010. For the past two years, we have listed suggested readings each week in the worship bulletin that would enable you to complete the Bible in one year.

For 2010, we are changing the format. I think you will find it to be exciting. The Bible will be divided into 7 categories as follows:

  • Sundays: Psalms
  • Mondays: Poetry
  • Tuesdays: Prophecy
  • Wednesdays: The Gospels
  • Thursdays: The Epistles
  • Fridays: The Law
  • Saturdays: History

About Andy Davis

Andy Davis is Senior Pastor, a position he has held since 1988. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humanities from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Andy and his wife Sharon have a son, Danny who is married to Stephanie and a daughter Christy who is married to Eric Jackson. Andy and Sharon have four grandsons: Davis, Asa, Matthew, and Bennett.
