Progress Continues on Major Summer Projects

It is difficult to grasp the magnitude of recurring preventive maintenance that is needed in a plant of over 106,000 square feet, seven out-properties, and five major parking lots.  Painted surfaces must be repainted periodically; parking lots must be resealed and re-striped to keep them from deteriorating and requiring repaving.  Scheduling these events is also a challenge for a plant as busy as ours is (PTL!), so much of it must be done in the summertime to avoid major ministry events like Vacation Bible School, Family Promise, Apple Tree distribution, etc.  Our operations staff with assistance from volunteers, under the leadership of Operations Manager Nathan Parr, resealed and re-striped parking lot B during some of the hottest days of the year.  Beginning last Wednesday afternoon, they prepped, sealed, and re-striped parking lot B; they worked through the day on Saturday to get it ready for Sunday morning. Special thanks to our amazing operations staff and volunteers who “make it happen” behind the scenes day after day so that the Lord’s House is ready for ministry and worship.
