We arrived safely in Paris! We got our luggage in the quickest time that Steve and I have ever experienced in all of our years of traveling to and from France! The flights were smooth and uneventful, and we are so grateful to the Lord!

Upon arrival around 11 am Paris time, we loaded all of the luggage in 2 vehicles and 5 of the team members traveled across town to the hotel via the train and metro (French subway) while David Leigh and Mark Rice rode in the vehicles with the drivers (our missionaries on the field) to help unload the luggage at the hotel.

After lunch, we all took a long walk to a nice park in the area in order to have a time with our missionary couple on the field, the Powells, to go over the schedule for the coming days of ministry.

Tomorrow we will begin our ministry schedule with some prayer walking around a very large mosque while the Muslims are meeting for their weekly prayers. After that we will head out to one of the apartment buildings where the “man of peace” we met last year lives. Some of you might remember that Steve and I along with the Powells went to his room in order to eat the evening meal with him and some of his fellow African “brothers”. The medcial mission team going to Senegal in January 2010 are going to his village.

Thank you all for your prayers!!
