Women Ministry

The women’s ministry opportunities at FBC Belton are as varied as the women who make up our family. There are mission groups, prayer groups, Bible studies of various types, and share groups for young mothers. There are groups that meet in the daytime, and groups that meet in the evenings.

Tuesday morning is the time when many groups meet.

The Women’s Mission & Ministry is a vital part of the women’s ministry at FBC Belton, providing impetus for the mission organizations and special mission offerings. There are mission study groups, both morning and evening on the 2nd Monday of the month and another the morning of the 3rd Thursday. These groups study about & pray for our foreign and national missionaries and participate in hands-on projects locally.

THURSDAYS
L.I.G.H.T.(Ladies Involved in Going, Helping,& Touching) 9-10 am preparation time; 10 am prayer; 10:30 am “go outside the walls” to tutor in elementary schools, visit hospitals, cook casseroles for outreach or minister to college students.

Sunday Evenings there are a variety of discipleship offerings for individual growth in Christ-likeness and for those who may be interested in improving their marriage or parenting skills. Beth Moore studies are offered many semesters.

The most exciting aspect of ministry at FBC Belton is that God brings the right people, with the right gifts to begin new women’s ministries every year. Could you be one of those women?
