LIFE Groups Update

LIFE Groups have proven to be a great way to connect with people. Currently, the college ministry has 4 groups that meet at different times throughout the week, helping over 40 individuals grow in community with others. God continues to challenge, equip and provide encouragement to all involved. With only a few weeks remaining in the semester we look forward to seeing what God chooses to do through these LIFE Groups.
This Summer, we will most likely bring all the students into one LIFE Group and perhaps with some other groups from Temple Bible Church. It looks like our students are developing a sense of “belonging” here at FBC and the LIFE Groups have been a large part of that.
Please continue to pray for our college ministry, including LIFE Groups.

I definitely agree! LIFE groups have been a HUGE factor in making FBC my home, and my family. The community built over the past year through life groups was unimaginable to me back in September. Thanks Jason, for seeing a need and allowing God to use you and all the LIFE group leaders. I also love that LIFE groups are not just FBC exclusive. We have many students who attend LIFE groups who also serve in various ministry capacities at other churches with little or no college ministry. LIFE groups are a great place to just rest in the Lord, share each other’s burdens, encourage one another, and equip one another to go out and live lives of love in our community. LIFE groups have been a vital part of my own journey of coming to know Jesus more intimately in the past year.

Having come from a church in North Texas that utilized LIFE groups to more closely connect members of a very large congregation, I think this is an awesome ministry. Any chance LIFE groups will come to adult ministries?
