How do I subscribe?

What is RSS?

RSS allows people to subscribe to regularly changing Web content. Many news sites, blogs and other publishers, including First Baptist Belton, syndicate their content as an RSS Feed.

Why should I use RSS?

RSS allows you to stay informed easily by grabbing the most recent content from the sites you are interested in. You save time because you don’t have to visit each site individually.

What do I need to do to read an RSS Feed?

Feed Reader or News Aggregator software allow you to grab the RSS feeds from various sites and display them for you to read and use. Several feed readers exist that you can download for your computer.  I prefer using Google Reader.  It’s Web-based, so you don’t have to download anything, and it works on any computer connected to the Internet.

Still too difficult?

If this is still too nerdy for you, have no fear - we’ve got options.  You can also subscribe to the latest news updates by e-mail.  We’ll package up all the stories of the day into an e-mail in the evening.  If we didn’t write that day, you won’t get an e-mail.  However, it’s those days that we do write stories that you’ll be looking forward to with eager anticipation.  To subscribe by e-mail, just click here.
