We had a great military fellowship this month! Shelly, Thank you so much for hosting a fabulous get-together. Sitting outside, enjoying the cool weather, and eating delicious food was lots of fun. The cool night was perfect for fellowship and connecting with other military folks. For those who weren’t able to make it, we missed you! I’m including a few pictures of the festivities.

Please mark your calendars for October’s Fellowship. It is scheduled for October 17 from 6-9 p.m., and it will be held at the home of Ron and Marlene Robertson. They live at 311 Lilly Drive in Belton, and their phone number is (254) 613-4095. Kingdom Kids is available for this event. Your children will have fun being taught about Jesus Christ and playing with friends in our Kingdom Kids Ministry (infants through 6th graders). If you are interested in reserving a spot for your child(ren), please contact Treasure by October 14. For everyone planning to attend the fellowship, please RSVP to Jessica Alley at (254) 939-5105 by noon on October 16, so that we can have an accurate head count for seats and drinks. Please bring your favorite dish, your spouse, and a friend, and be prepared to see old friends or make new ones. For those who have husbands deployed, you are encouraged to come and meet others who are in similar situations or have been there before. If you have any questions, please email me. We look forward to seeing you there! Military Family Night Out is scheduled for October 10. This is a great time to go on a date with your spouse, go out with a friend, run errands, or just take a break. Quick Reminder: Active duty and veterans, please provide a photo (preferably in uniform) so we can honor you the Sunday before Veterans Day. Please bring the photo with name, military branch, and years of service (ex. 1980-1990) to the military table in foyer on September 28 or October 5. You can also email your photo to Jessica Alley.
