Family Promise

Family Promise continues to assist and minister to homeless families in Bell County by helping them attain sustainable independence. First Baptist Belton plays a vital role in this work by being a host church 4 times a year to families in Family Promise.  We will be hosting again August 11-17 and need your help.

If you would like to serve, please sign up here.  Your participation in this ministry is making a difference right here in Bell County. Volunteers can help out in one of three areas: meals, activity time, and overnight support.

Meals: Please have food in Room 124 by 5:45 pm and be ready to serve by 6. Three to four people work together each day to provide meals.
Activity Time: From 7 – 8:30 pm several volunteers will spend time with the families (hanging out, going to the playground, playing games, etc.)
Overnight: One male and one female volunteer arrive at 8:15 pm and spend the night at the church. Leave at 6:15 pm the next morning.

Thank you for your service.
