ARCHIVE: Easter Celebration and Hallelujah Egg Hunt

You are currently viewing an archived news item.

easterPreschoolers and their families are invited to hear the Easter Story and join us for the Hallelujah Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at the UMHB Luther Memorial. Please don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets and feel free to bring a friend. In case of rain, we will meet in the worship center for music and then hunt the eggs in the gym and old sanctuary.

Luther Memorial is the large grassy area with the UMHB arches, and it is west of Vann Circle.  Parking is available on Captain Drive, Moore Street and the two large parking lots at 10th and College.  [See Map]

We need your help

In preparation for the Hallelujah Egg Hunt on Easter weekend, we will need many volunteers to bring candy (small enough to fit in an egg) and drop it in the Easter boxes located in the foyer outside the main office or by the check in station on the north side church in the preschool hall. We will be taking candy donations from now until Sunday, April 5. Also, join us for the Preschool Easter Egg Stuffing Party on Wednesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. in room 256. We need many volunteers to help stuff the eggs with candy in preparation for the Hallelujah Egg Hunt. Please contact Allison Ball if want to sign up to stuff eggs.

What a wonderful morning! This is a wonderful ministry of our church. Sometimes, it’s the little things that connect a community.
