In Community. On Mission.

We exist to equip college students to glorify God by being disciples of Christ, making Jesus known across the world, and positioning them to live a life that is worthy of the Gospel.

The vision for the future of the College Ministry at First Baptist Belton is to see students who are learning what it means to fulfill the Great Commission. We want to create an environment that makes disciples and mobilizes students to go to the nations. We want to see students develop a heart that is in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, knows His commandments, and cannot help but obey Jesus while loving the people around them. Ultimately, we desire to glorify God by equipping students to live out their lives missionally every day.

Here’s how we intend to do that:

Thursday Lunch:

Join us every Thursday whenever you can make it between 12 – 2 pm in the College House for lunch. This will be a fun time just to bond together as a college ministry and get to know one another. The best part? Lunch is completely free!

Throughout the year we have different events such as the Big Fair and the Super Bowl Bowl party to connect us in fellowship as a college ministry.

As the lifeblood or our ministry, we meet together in homes throughout the week to dig deeper into faith, ask tough questions, and grow together. Every LifeGroup will look a little different but in general, they involve an opening time of fellowship with food, a lesson, and some time to be real with one another. We are focusing on discipleship; being discipled and making disciples. Here are our LifeGroups this semester:

Chris & Heather Green:
Clark Hall (UMHB Campus) | 7 pm | Tuesday Nights

Jeff & Jen Sutton:
Hope for the Hungry | 7 pm | Wednesday Nights

Colton & Katy White:
511 Stiles Drive, Belton | 7 pm | Thursday Nights

Sunday School:

As a culmination of what God has been doing in our lives throughout the week, we meet in the College House at 9:45 am Sunday mornings to hang out, eat breakfast, worship, celebrate God’s continued goodness and grace in our lives, and prepare our hearts for how He will mold us through LifeGroups in the upcoming week. This time includes corporate worship and teaching.

Missions Strategy:

We know that all Christians are called to make much of God throughout the world, so missions is a vital part of our college ministry. As you walk into the College House, be sure to be consistently checking the missions board and the three chalk boards listing missions prayer requests.

Seattle 2014:

We had a great time serving Epic Life Church in Seattle. Keep your eyes peeled for more information on what we’ll be doing next.
