Fall Retreat Details

When: Begins Friday, November 16th at 5pm ends Saturday, November 17th at 5pm.

Where: Summers Mill Retreat & Conference Center. 7441 FM 1123 Belton, TX 76513.

Cost: $25.

Main Speakers

Logan Reynolds

Logan has served as the college pastor at First Baptist for 2 years. He grew up in a Christian home but it wasn’t until late college when he decided to really follow Jesus. Logan holds degrees from Texas Tech University and Southwestern Seminary. Prior to joining the staff at First Baptist Belton, Logan served in various staff position for 5 years at Christ Chapel Bible Church, a large church in downtown Fort Worth. He has a beautiful wife and best friend, Jordan and is the father of Lane and a little girl expected to arrive in January.

Anthony Foxworth

Anthony is an Army Chaplain currently serving at Fort Hood. He grew up in a Christian home where his father was a pastor and Army Chaplain. He joined the Army after high school and served as a Military Policeman for 7.5 years. He planted a church in Albany, NY, with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), and pastored for 7 years. He has degrees from Troy University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Robyn, and they have 5 children: Ashleigh (21), Kayla (19), Emily (17), Zeke (8), Levi (8), a son in law, Stuart, and a granddaughter, Savannah (10 months).

Corey Woodard

BIO: Corey is a sophomore from Irving, TX. He is currently a Christian Studies major seeking to do ministry vocationally. Corey also serves as an intern for the college ministry at First Baptist Belton.

since he was seven years old.

Ashley Frank

BIO: Ashley is a senior from Huntington, TX. She is currently pursuing a degree in art, but has sensed a call to vocational ministry. She serves as an intern for the college ministry at first baptist belton

FUN FACT: Ashley eats popcorn at least once a day.

Mercedes Saldivar

BIO: Mercedes is a senior nursing and psychology major from North Richland Hills, TX.

FUN FACT: She accidentally broke her brother’s arm when she was 10.

Freedom in Christ: How Jesus liberates us to live in him and for him

Miriam Osterlund

BIO: Miriam is a sophomore from Midland, TX, studying Christian Studies.

FUN FACT: Miriam can fit 55 almonds in her mouth at once.
