Check-in changes

We are making a change to the way that families with elementary aged children check in for small groups.  Pleas read the frequently asked questions below for more details.

Where will the new check-in stations be located?
The new check-in stations will be located in the Pearl Street Foyer. That’s at the west entrance to the church, where the blue awning is. There will be four stations where families and children can check in for small groups or Extended Session.

If I bring my family to the church, but we don’t know how to check in. How will I know what to do?
Don’t worry. We’ll have at least one volunteer available each Sunday to help families with the computer. Also, our volunteers will be able to show them to their small group rooms if they are unfamiliar with the church.

Most of the children in grades one through five usually check in upstairs in room 231. Will they still go there to check in?
No. We’re installing four computers in the Pearl Street Foyer since most families park on the west side of the church. When families come in, their first stop will be at those check-in stations. We’ll be removing the station where elementary children ususally check in upstairs. However, Dave and Melinda will still be in room 231 to help just in case kids forget to check in at the new stations.  Please help your child remember to check in upon arriving at church.

What about preschoolers? Families with preschoolers usually check in at the north entrance. Will those stations still be up and running?
The north entrance check-in stations will still be functional, as they are primarily targeting families with preschool aged children. Families can check in at either the north entrance or the Pearl Street Foyer entrance on the west side. We’ve simply added the stations at the Pearl Street Foyer to make check-in quicker and more convenient for families as they arrive at church on Sunday mornings.

When will all this be up and running?
February 14 is the first day that the new check-in stations will be avaiable to use.
