ARCHIVE: Charlie’s New Assignment

chasEffective June 1, I will be serving as Minister-at-large for International Evangelism Association. My focus will be training and equipping lay leaders  in evangelism and discipleship.

IEA will be partnering with the Baptist General Convention of Texas in the next few years in ‘Operation Multiplication,’ conducting regional workshops in local churches statewide.  Much of my attention will be with this project.

I look forward to serving with Billie Hanks and the IEA staff and board in their vision to ‘equip the saints’ in our state, nation and world! Thanks to our church family for praying for Janice and me as we set out to discover God’s next assignment for us… He truly has directed us to this new place of service!

Your co-laborer,
Charlie

    Charlie,

God speed you in this new ministry. Discipleship and evangelism are your passions, and now you have a wider audience. Say hello to Billie for me. I have known him for more than 40 years.
