We are a church in central Texas devoted to knowing, serving, and sharing Jesus in Belton and around the world.

This blog is an extension of that mission. Here you will find devotional thoughts from our staff, stories of the Gospel from our members, and resources to disciple and equip you in your faith. We’re excited to bring these things to you, and hope that God will use these posts in your walk, even if you aren’t a part of First Baptist Belton. If you’re interested in learning more about our church, visit our main site at www.fbcbelton.org.

A note about the ministries that blog on this site:

Currently we have three ministries that blog at this address. Here’s a little bit more about them:

  • The College Ministry – The College Ministry at First Baptist Belton exists to help students at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Temple College know, serve and share Jesus by encouraging students to live in community and on mission for the Gospel.
  • Special Needs Ministry – Our Special Needs Ministry at First Baptist Belton¬†exists to reach individuals with special needs for Christ. Their passion is to educate through the teaching of Scripture, offer opportunities to serve, and be an encouragement and support for families.
  • Equipping – This is the title that all of our age group and specific ministries fall under. As a whole, the ministry of equipping is here to disciple and grow the believer.

Discipleship Stories

We’ve captured a few stories of what God is doing in our midst. This blog will be the place to see those.
