Jason Goings delivered a moving sermon Sunday entitled “A Vision for Going Global.” In this vision, he establishes the need for the whole church to share the whole Gospel to the whole world.

Our current missions plan has two problems in regard to obeying Matthew 28 and Acts 1:8. First, we have a few people that go to several places, while the rest are uninvolved and are content to just hear a report every now and then or simply don’t know how to be involved. Second, we have generations of Christians who are growing up in the church that we’re failing to equip with the call to be “global.”

In response, 12 regional mission teams have been created. These teams focus their efforts on a specific region of the world. The goals of these teams are:

• To help our church have our thumb on the “pulse” of that specific region.
  • What is God doing in that region?
  • What are the needs in that region?
  • What are the people groups?
  • Who are some people that God wants us to connect with in these regions?
• To regularly ask God to revive, save and bring the WHOLE GOSPEL to that region. PRAY.
• To equip our church family to know what God would have our church family know about that region.

We welcome and encourage every church member to join a regional mission team. You can send Jason an e-mail expressing your interest in joining a team. Following are the 12 teams and their leaders.
