A+ Support Group

aplusThe A+ Support Group, formerly called the Autism Support Group will meet in room 256 on Saturday, January 17th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.  The support group is designed for families who have a child with any special need, chronic illness or disability.

Deborah Morgan, M.Ed. is a Speech Language Pathologist and Certified Teacher. She will be the speaker for the event, covering the topic “Tools for the Parents’ Tool Box.”

Kingdom Kids will be provided – registration is required by Friday, January 16th at 12 p.m. Please contact Tracy O’Banon for more information at (254) 760-2342.

    When will you all be doing this again? I have a baby with Down Syndrome and would love to attend.

    Do you have an Asperger’s support group? Several of my Asperger’s student’s parents have asked if there is a local chapter in this area. Please let me know. Thank you, Gail Avots, Salado ISD Educational Diagnostician

    The A+ Support Group is for those who have Autism Spectrum Disorders, so Asperger’s is included, as well as other chronic illnesses or disabilities. The support group meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month, with the next one being on February 21st. You are welcome to call me at 760-2342 for more info.
