Would you like to get to know some of the great college students at FBC? LIFE Ministries’ Adopt-a-Student program is a great way to get involved in the life of a college student. LIFE Ministries is all about building relationships with our students and that’s what we’re looking for in our adoptive parents.

Before you panic, don’t worry; you won’t be asked to pay for their classes. How about having them over for a home cooked meal or taking them out to one of the many fine dining establishments in the area… anything to give them a break from dining hall food or their roommate’s cooking! Sometimes they might just want a place to get away from campus to relax, do some laundry or maybe even study! Most importantly, just being someone they can talk to about things that are going on in their lives, whether it’s their classes, fellow classmates, family, or their spiritual life. How involved you get is between you and your adopted student.

If you’re interested in adopting a college student or want more information, contact Jeff Wetherbee or Nita Barnett. You can also visit the table in the foyer on Sunday. We’ve got a lot of college students who are looking for families.
