First Baptist will celebrate its 155th Anniversary on Sunday, July 27 at the morning worship services and at the church-wide fellowship following the evening service.  Vignettes on former pastor M.V. Smith and the burning of the church in 1947 will be on July 13 and July 20.  Historical panels from each church decade will be shown during the month and highlighted on Sunday, July 27.

Copies of The History of First Baptist Church by Dr. J.A. Reynolds will be on sale for $10 each. An update for the last five years since the 150th Anniversary will be provided for both new books and books previously purchased. A First Baptist Historical Plate will be provided with each book purchase.

All current and former members are encouraged to be present for this important event in the life of First Baptist Belton. For more information, persons may contact Dr. J.A. Reynolds, Heritage Committee Chairman, at 254-939-3995, or Vicki Wetherbee at 254-939-0705.
