This year FBC Belton and the Children’s Special Needs Network joined efforts to start the Autism Support Group for this area.  The group is for parents, educators, medical professionals, ministry leaders - basically anyone who wants to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorders and how they affect our children.

The group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 10am.  Topics range from behavior, special education services, therapy, to emotions and more.  We encourage parents who have children with special needs other than Autism to attend since many of the same topics apply to us all.

The next meeting will be Saturday, June 21st at 10am in room 256.  Kandy Kirkley, Minister to Adults, will be the speaker.   We look forward to Kandy sharing about the emotions parents face as they parent a child with special needs.

Kingdom Kids is provided and registration is required.  Please call the Children’s Special Needs Network office at 770-2353 to register or for more information, please call Tracy O’Banon at 760-2342.
