Each Sunday before July 4th, FBC Belton puts on a concert celebrating God and Country with one of the division bands from Ft. Hood. This Sunday was the 36th time the church did this for the community and it was a special time. BG Christopher Tucker from Ft. Hood was the guest speaker, and the FBCB Choir performed the musical selections with the help of the 4th Infantry Division Band. The patriotism in the Mayborn Hall at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (UMHB) was strong as the community gathered together for this annual event. This was especially a moving afternoon for me as I had the privilege of laying the wreath in honor of all our veterans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
